Our understanding of broadband quiescent emission from neutron star LMXBs is incomplete. In the optical the donor star is present, and thermal emission from the neutron star is seen in X-rays. But, there is often a hard power-law tail in the X-ray spectrum whose origin is poorly understood. Moreover, UV emission during quiescence has generally been ignored, though a recessed accretion disk and possibly reprocessed X-rays may be important here. To investigate the broadband emission mechanisms present we propose to monitor the nearby neutron star LMXB, Cen X-4 with four, 12 ks observations to obtain photometry in 5 optical/UV filters in addition to high quality X-ray spectra. Studying the variability across this large range in wavelength will help complete our picture of quiescent emission.
