From INTEGRAL and Swift surveys a significant fraction of hard X-ray sources were found to be magnetic Cataclysmic Variables(CVs) of the Intermediate Polar (IP) type. Optical follow-ups of ~100 unidentified INTEGRAL sources show that ~15% of the new detections have magnetic CV-like spectra. A timely question is whether IPs provide an important contribution to the hard X-ray sky and hence still represent a hidden population of galactic X-ray sources. We propose to continue our identification programme of newly discovered CVs, which are strong magnetic candidates. The detection of X-ray pulses and the study of their broad band X-ray spectra will allow a firm identification of their nature and will provide further insights in physics of this emerging class of accreting compact objects.
