This paper describes observations of the muon component of PeV EAS from the direction of Cygnus X-3 detected with the GREX array between 1st October 1988 and 30th September 1989. Although no time averaged excess is seen there is an indication of emission at phase 0.25-0.30 in the 4.8 hr period when higher energy showers, contianing more than the expected number of muons, are considered.
