This proposal defines a long term sensitivity monitoring program for the Goddard High Resolution Spectrograph. It uses two UV standard stars, BD+28d4211, and Mu Columbae. BD+28d4211 will be the long term standard, and will allow cross-calibration with FOS. BD+28d4211 will be observed with the LSA and SSA. The exposure times are short. The four medium resolution gratings will measure Mu Columbae through the LSA. Observations will be made at intervals of 100A across the range of each grating. For the Echelles, OSCAN observations will measure the sensitivity near the the blaze peak. The setups for the Echelles are chosen to be the same as those used for SV test 1357, to maintain traceability to the original calibrations. WSCAN observations will scan across m=36 in ECH-A and m=20 in ECH-B.We recommend that this test be run approximately three times per year to monitor the long term photometric stability of the GHRS.
