In the recent past, optical long baseline interferometry has grown up and is now ready to imprint its mark in the area of stellar astrophysics. Be stars have been preferred targets since long, and the Be community is used to follow the developments and results from this technique. I present results obtained with this technique on the study of the circumstellar environments of Be stars. I also present the latest studies of Be and non-Be stars stellar surface shape and temperature. A new era is opened that will see the advent of interferometric and spectroscopic campaign aiming at investigating the connection between the star surface parameters (affected by rotation), the wind and mass ejection events.
