The authors present a class of cosmological solutions of Einstein-Maxwell equations, which have a static Bertotti-Robinson-like model as an asymptotic configuration. The novel feature of the models is the presence of a conductivity current in Maxwell equations characterizing a regime of magnetohydrodynamics. Exact analytical solutions are exhibited, and the solutions may be used as the interior model for the collapse of a self-gravitating bounded fluid with electric conductivity.
