Models of rigidly rotating B and Be stars are discussed, and results for 5-solar-mass rotating stars both on the ZAMS and in a hydrogen burning shell phase are presented. It is shown that, as a consequence of the gravitational darkening effect, the rotating stars have more evolved spectral types than their homologous nonrotating counterparts. Results indicate that the observed velocity to critical equatorial velocity ratios of Be stars can never correspond to critical rigid-body rotation. The variation of angular momentum of B and Be stars during their evolution is also considered.
