Helioseismology is a powerful tool for studying the solar interior. Some of the important current issues in helioseismology are: the detection of g-modes, the development of models for the dynamics and structure of the solar interior, and the observation and modeling of wave propagation in active regions. I will highlight some important aspects of these problems and discuss prospects for future work in helioseismology.
