The conditions of star formation process in dense star clusters,
undergoing inelastic contact collisions, are investigated. The gas
released in collisions is shown to contract to a cold disc with a
temperature of ≡102- 103K, where mainly
low-mass stars ≡0.1 - 0.5 M_sun; are formed.
