An account is given of the wind corners in high resolution wind profile measurements obtained in the 70-100 km altitude range during the summers of 1987 and 1988 at the 69 deg N position of Andenes. Wind corner properties are compared with those obtained in the winter of 1983-1984 and the autumn of 1987. A strong wind corner was seen on approximately every third experiment, during both summer and winter; wind corners seem to have no preference for specific times of day, although they appear at preferred heights which are noted to be higher in summer than in winter. In strong wind corners, the sense of wind direction rotation is positive in summer and negative in winter.
