Quasi-periodic oscillations (QPOs) at frequencies near 1000 Hz have been detected from a number of neutron star x-ray binaries using RXTE. These oscillations are likely associated with orbital motion at the inner edge of accretion disks near neutron stars with low magnetic fields and, thus, give us information about the behavior of the accretion disk in the strong gravitational field near the neutron star. We discuss implications of general relativity for the interpretation of the fast QPOs.
