OSSE survey observations were conducted with scans crossing the galactic plane at longitudes lII=+16 and lII=+20. These data indicate the presence of three or more compact sources of hard X-ray emission. One of these is identified to be the source 4U 1812-12 a type I burster. Such semi-persistent hard X-ray emissions in the galactic LMXRB population may be responsible for a significant portion of the `distributed' hard X-ray spectrum of the galactic center, as recently measured with the joint SIGMA/OSSE observations. For 4U 1812-12 we find a spectrum well-described from 50 keV to 200 keV with a power-law form of index ~-2.6 or with a thermal bremmstrahlung model (OTTB) of kt~55 keV.
