The present frequency-time analysis of the Pc-1 geomagnetic pulsations obtained by a high resolution numerical sonogram has confirmed that the dynamics of their spectra are characterized by a step-by-step energy transfer between the lines of a quasi-discreted set. During this process, the preferential birth of the spectrum lines that were shifted toward lower frequencies with respect to the parent lines occurs. The fate of the parent line after the birth depends on its amplitude; while high amplitude lines disappear at once, moderate amplitude lines can linger for many bounce times.
