The AustroMars project culminated in a simulated 2-week sojourn on the Red Planet which took place at the Mars Desert Research Station in southern Utah/USA in April 2006. This proceeding is the direct result from a science workshop which was held at the University of Salzburg, Austria bringing together scientists and engineers involved in the suite of experiments of AustroMars.
