Hst Proposal Id #5761 Ism Novae

Scientific paper

I propose to observe the newly discovered gamma ray Nova (GRO J1650-40)
with the Planetary Camera and Halpha and R broadband filters. This is to
search for optical counterparts of the high velocity gas seen by the VLA
to be ejected in the last few days by the nova.
