This proposal defines the routine internal monitor to be run weekly for WFPC2 during cycle 4. The program obtains two bias frames through each bay, two INTFLATS with the F555W filter through each bay, and two Kelsall spot images with exposure times optimized for the WF and PC, respectively. It will provide a weekly monitor of the integrity of the CCD camera chain electronics in both bays (7 e/DN and 15 e/DN), test for quantum efficiency hysteresis in the CCDs and provide an internal check on the alignment of the WFPC2 optical chain.
