The microscopic interaction between fermions and gravitational field, which is treated as a gauge field, is studied in the very early universe. At sufficiently high density, the spin-gravitation coupling is of essential importance in leading to the matter-antimatter segregation and the negative energy density. The contracting universe can then rebound and turn to expansion at the moment of vanishing energy density which occurs when interparticle distance is of the order of Planck length. There exists no such singularity at the beginning of the universe as in conventional cosmological theories.
