The advantage of use of the dual-satellite crossovers for the pair ``ERS-1 & TOPEX'' over the single-satellite crossovers for ERS-1 alone is numerically demonstrated: the dual-satellite crossover error is lower than the single-satellite crossover error [the errors are mapped from the calibrated geopotential variance-covariance matrices of GRIM4S2 and GEM T2].
