The relations connecting the amplitude and phase of the hydromagnetic wave beams with the impedance of the Earth has been obtained. It is shown that above the ionosphere at large distances from the axis the frequency rely on the apparent resistivity depends mostly on the features of the geoelectrical section, and practically does not depend on the distribution of the field inside the beam. The ``above-ionospheric'' curves of the apparent resistivity are calculated for the middle latitude pulsations excited by the field-line resonance oscillations. It is found that the information about geoelectric profile may be obtained from the polarization pattern of the fields at the satellites heights and also from the simultaneous ground-based and satellite magnetometric observations.
