Mathematical models describing the characteristics of Wolf-Rayet stars
are considered. Numerical results tend to confirm Beals' model (1944).
It is shown that chromosphere-corona effects in the envelope,
characteristic of Thomas' model (1949), are absent to distances of 20
solar radii.
