The theoretical star clusters models are based, in this review, on statistical distribution functions. We have tried to work out the day's reckoning of the clusters knowledge, refering equally to our works. The elaboration of such models is evidently valuable with sufficiently populated clusters (N greater than 1000). The presented equilibrium dynamical models perfectly represent the observed clusters. Some information is also given on the star clusters evolution. The interest of presented models which are near these of King's models sequence is precised. The N body, Monte Carlo and hydrodynamical methods seem better adapted to the evolution's study.
