The Magellanic Clouds provide the best opportunity to study detailed star formation processes on a galactic scale. The Clouds are attractive targets because they form a triply-interacting system with the Milky Way, allowing us to directly investigate the influence of non-merger interactions on the star formation histories of the participant galaxies. We propose to obtain deep stellar photometry of twelve fields in the inter-Cloud Magellanic Bridge, in order to determine the star formation history of this tidal feature. We expect that the Bridge stellar population will be dominated by stars that formed in the wake of the event that formed the bridge; determining their ages will directly constrain the timing of the bridge-forming event. The presence of stars older than the bridge-forming event provides information on how efficiently stars were tidally stripped from the SMC during the bridge- forming event.
