This is a progress report on Galactic cosmic ray propagation calculations. To model the spectra of primary and secondary cosmic rays in the solar vicinity we use an analytical solution of the stationary transport equation for Galactic cosmic rays in cylindrical geometry. In particular stochastic reacceleration of the particles by scattering through plasma waves in the interstellar medium is considered. Consistency checks of the solution and first studies regarding the cosmic ray protons are presented.
