The new approach considered for dealing with the three-body problem is based on familiar ideas of Hamiltonian dynamics in the extended phase space and employs the six center-of-mass integrals to reduce the order of the differential equations which describe the particle motions. Use is made of the classical canonical treatment of Whittaker (1904) and of concepts considered by Szebehely (1967). The actual regularization is achieved by introducing two KS transformations.
