Mössbauer spectra of angrites D'Orbigny and Sahara 99555 show that
pyroxene ferrous ion is preominantly in the M1 site, not the M2 as for
Angora dos Reis. These results are consistent with IR spectral data
(Burbine et al., 2001, LPS XXXII,1857).
