The southern boundaries of the strongly magnetic Cimmeria/Sirenum region
in Mars' southern hemisphere are abrupt and characteristic of fault
boundaries. The large non-magnetic region centered in Noachis Terra may
host additional unrecognized large impact craters or thermal events.
