In order to describe gravitational interaction, within the framework of predictive relativistic mechanics, the slow motion approximation of general relativity is considered. The covariance of the field equations in general relativity allows to choose a coordinate condition (the harmonic gauge) in which the equations of motion up to order of the -4th power of the speed of light are Poincare invariant and therefore approximate solutions of predictive relativistic mechanics.
