A new approach to studying the possibility of synthesis of all p-nuclei is proposed. The applicability range of this approach is broad owing to a special structure of kinetic equations for nucleosynthesis. By considering the example of the explosion of a type-II supernova, it is shown that, in a single explosion event, the synthesis of all p-nuclei is impossible in principle.
