Quantitative shock barometry reveals peak shock pressures of 26-32 GPa
in Shergotty, 28-30 in Zagami, 27-38 in EETA79001, 33-45 in SaU 005,
39-45 in DaG 476 and 40-45 in ALH77005. The existence of a high shock
and a moderate shock group among the basaltic and lherzolitic meteorites
is confirmed.
