Detailed experiments using water labelled in deuterium to quantify the
terrestrial water contamination on extraterrestrial samples. At water
concentration ranging between 0.2 and 0.6 wt.%, the relative fraction of
terrestrial water in the Semarkona meteorite, never exceeds 20%.
