The author fits a de Vaucouleurs r1/4 surface brightness profile to the X-ray images of two clusters of galaxies: A1795 (centrally peaked) and A1060 (not centrally peaked). One advantage over the isothermal-β model is that the present method can fit all the data, the central region as well as the outer atmosphere of those clusters with central peaks and those without. The author has constructed the model to include a density index which can be compared to the parameter β ≡ >v
