Micrometeoroid and orbital debris particles are preserved as abundant
and well-preserved residues on Multilayer Insulation (MLI) foils that
were exposed to LEO during the flight of the Japanese Space Flyer Unit
(SFU). MLI holds great potential as a repository of natural particles.
