This project aims to determine the connection between the radio synchrotron and the bursty gamma-ray emission recently discovered in several AGN. Fast (3-10 day) timescale variations have also recently been reported at mm-wavelengths in strong gamma-ray emitting AGN (e.g. Krichbaum et al. 2007). We will establish the correlation between these variations in a handful of bright sources from ATCA observations made in conjunction with GLAST.
