The author discusses how the angular problem may be solved during the collapse of a rotating cloud core. He considers collapse to a disc and subsequent disc evolution, which yields a single star with the angular momentum being dispersed in a disc. And he considers collapse to form a binary (or multiple) star system in which most of the angular momentum ends up in orbital motion.
