The Lund technique for crowded field photometry is intended to maximise photometric precision for limited amounts of data. For this purpose, it includes interactive procedures to facilitate the optimisation of fundamental parameters like star identification and background determination. Modelling using simulated images has been made in order to study and separate the influence of various error sources.
