The relic density (Ωχ01h2) of the neutralino dark matter is evaluated in the minimal supergravity model for values of the Higgs sector parameter tan β ≡ v2/v1 between the two infrared fixed points of the top quark Yukawa coupling, 1.8 ⪉ tan β ⪉ 56. For a cosmologically interesting relic density, 0.1 ⪉ Ωχ01h2 ⪉ 0.4, the authors find that the supergravity parameter space is tightly constrained.
