Orbital elements for the two satellites, 1959 α1 and α2, for the period April 2, 1960, through August 1, 1961, are tabulated. The various perturbations on the perigee distance of Satellite 1959 α1 have been determined from launch on February 18, 1959, through August 1, 1961; they show that the radiation pressure produces a variation in the perigee distance of this satellite with a period of 450 days and an amplitude of 1.5 km.
