A theoretical study is presented of the longitudinal stability of a current sheet, homogeneous in the direction of the current, in the solar corona. The problem of the stability of the plane neutral sheet with respect to small perturbations with a wave vector parallel to the current is solved in the MHD approximation with allowance for heat conductivity and radiative energy losses.
