Solubility measurements have been used to establish the gypsum-anhydrite
equilibrium in the CaSO 4 -H 2 O system at atmospheric pressure. The
saturation equilibrium has been approached both from undersaturated and
supersaturated solutions. The invariant point temperature has been found
to be 49.5 ± 2.5° C .
