On 26 February 1998, the total solar eclipse was observed at Guadeloupe (French territory) in Caribbean sea, in order to derive the two-dimensional electron temperature. Direct images of the corona were obtained in continua at the four wavelengths of 3980Å, 4100Å, 4220Å, and 4320Å. Temperature of streamers, polar plumes, and coronal hole were reported.
