6280 Saturnian Satellites

Scientific paper

Ultraviolet spectra of five of Saturn's satellites have been obtained with the Hubble Space Telescope's late STIS spectrograph. These spectra cover the near UV not observed by Cassini instrumentation and can provide complementary information on ice composition including entrapped oxygen and sulfur. Both leading and trailing hemisphere spectra of Enceladus, Tethys, Rhea, Dione, and Iapetus will be compared.
