The test electromagnetic field of a point charge on the symmetry axis of a rotating black hole is discussed. Several authors have investigated this problem but te solutions obtained are in the form of multipole series expansion which assume unmanageable form with the increasing order of multipoles. Here we obtain the solution in close algebraic form and discuss its properties in several limiting situations.
