Observation of cosmic ray heavy nuclei with energies above 5 GeV/nuc. were performed by balloon-borne detector systems in 1980 and 1981. Results from these flights were analysed in terms of the chemical abundance of cosmic ray heavy nuclei above 10 GV rigidity. The ratio of the secondary nuclei to primary nuclei at the top of the atmosphere is derived.
