Objects on collision course with the Earth have t days before impact a
daily motion less than 0.0085×t°/d and may in practice be
undetectable. We need thus not worry about recent Near Earth Objects in
the news media. It seems paradoxical, but they cannot hit the Earth
simply because they were discovered.
