Scientific paper

The vacuum cosmological model developed by Shri Ram (1983) using the
Brans-Dicke field equations and a spatially homogeneous Bianchi type-I
space-time is investigated analytically. The field equations
corresponding to this model are evaluated and shown to be equivalent to
the general solution obtained by Ruban and Finkelstein (1972).
