In this paper, we analyze the nonextensive Tsallis' statistical mechanics in
the light of Verlinde's formalism. As an important result we obtain, with the
aid of a noncommutative entropic gravity, a new bound for Tsallis nonextensive
parameter that is clearly different from the one present in the current
literature. We also derive the Friedmann equations in a nonextensive scenario.
