The newly observed resonances D_{s_{1}}^* and D_{s_0} are discussed in a
potential model. The relationship between the mass difference between p-states
D_{s_1}^*(1^+), D_{s_0}(0^+) and s-states D_s^*(1^-), D_s(0^-) is also
examined. Some remarks about the state D_1^*(1^+) and D_0(0^+) in the non-
strange sectors are also made.
