We study Pomeron-Odderon interference effects giving rise to charge and
single-spin asymmetries in diffractive electroproduction of a $\pi^+ \pi^-$
pair. We calculate these asymmetries in the Born approximation of QCD in a
kinematical domain accessible to HERA experiments.
