We review recent theoretical progress in low-mass dilepton production at
CERN-SpS energies. Various hadronic approaches to calculate the vector
correlator in hot/dense hadronic matter are discussed and confronted with each
other. Possible consequences for the nature of chiral restoration are
indicated.
