I consider nonleptonic decays of B mesons into two light mesons using the
light-cone wave functions for the mesons. In the heavy quark limit,
nonfactorizable contributions are calculable from first principles in some
decay modes. I review the idea of the QCD-improved factorization method and
discuss the implications in phenomenology.
